Looking for a quick, affordable, and foolproof way to add a bit of coziness to your home? I’m a huge fan of scented candles for adding some warmth to a room. I know what you’re thinking: “Well, yeah, who doesn’t like candles?” And to that I’d say: do you know those large plastic tubs folks usually use to store holiday decor or move into a new place? Bath & Body Works 3-Wick Candles
A classic for a reason, Bath & Body Works candles come in a huge range of amazing scents. Everyone knows their holiday classics (I will swear by Frosted Cranberry FOREVER), but they actually come out with awesome scents all year long―even their spring florals and summer beach-y scents are lovely. Plus, if you time it right, you almost never have to pay full price ($24.50 per candle), as B&BW is known for their awesome sales.
P.F. Candle Co. Classic Soy Candles
A California favorite since their launch in 2008, every P.F. Candle Co. candle is designed and handmade by a small staff of 31 in Southern CA. Spread a few of their classic amber jar candles around your home and—voila! You’ll be the coolest candle lover on the block. Though their offerings have grown in the past decade, I still swear by their Classic Soy Candle No. 4: Teakwood & Tobacco. Smokey and cozy, this unique candle will make a great addition to your place.
Homesick Candle
Certain smells can trigger such strong memories; for me, the smell of chocolate in the air when visiting the town of Hershey is one that takes me back to childhood immediately. Thymes Frasier Fir Candle
Strong without being cloying, the Frasier Fir-scented candle from Thymes is my all time favorite. Truly, if you like woodsy, fresh, and/or piney scents, just trust me on this one. I know the website says that Frasier Fir is a holiday scent, but I burn them all year long.
